Who is Conversant?
Conversant is a collective of five independent, NRCPD-registered British Sign Language interpreters — Jill Blackadder, Sharon Cox, Dr. Sue MacLaine, Marco Nardi, and Mark Schofield — based in Brighton & Hove. We provide professional interpreting services across Sussex, the UK, and internationally, with a focus on effective communication for Deaf communities.
As a group of interpreters, we are not an agency; instead, we are united by our commitment to delivering excellent, reliable, and ethical work. Each member has an individual profile on our site, showcased in British Sign Language, alongside English text and audio, making it easy for you to book directly with the British Sign Language interpreter of your preference.
